Khadi Research Cell

The project entailed designing, detailing and executing the interiors for the research cell pertaining to Khadi and crafts related to the indigenous industries of India. The cell was around 45 sqmt and was laid out to accommodate 5-6 people. It allows some space for the display of Khadi and some village industry items. The furnishings for the space are all handcrafted and from the villages. The main idea was to create a contemporary atmosphere of research and development using crafts from the village.
