Active Dialog
|
Active Dialog is an art installation in a parlour room. It addresses spatial interaction between inanimate objects and humans. The parlour room has a number of decorative picture frames on the wall. When the visitor enters the room and moves through it, the picture frames capture his/her picture from various angles depending on where the frames are located. The pictures taken jump from frame to frame as the frames are networked. A bunch of pictures of themselves from different angles exploding all over a room creates a sense of confusion, intrigue and even annoyance amongst the visitors. The visitor either wants to leave the room or stay and enjoy the show. There is a reaction and hence a relation to the space in both cases. |
