Fly in the Box |
The project entails trying to create three dimensional animations in a 3D LED matrix. Its a project in process and looks like will be one for sometime as I love to play around with it. The motivation behind doing something like this is not very clear. It started off as a formal exercise to understand current, voltage and electricity in general. It has developed beyond that to a level where the lights could intelligently show a basic behavior. For now I am trying to animate a fly trying to escape a box it is trapped in. The fly here is a discrete LED and the box is the peripheral boundary of the matrix .

| For the more technical brains, there is some documentation on the LED drivers, schematics and code for a basic LED row column scan in here . | ||||
